Who's up for a card class on Sept 3?

 Hi Stampin' Friend!

Eric and I have been on a roller coaster ride with the final months of his career at Verso - One day they say he'll be working until the end of the year, the next day they say he'll be done next week...

As of yesterday, he is scheduled to work the afternoon shift next week, which leaves me some free time to hold a card class!!!

I have 3 cards designed already, and ideas for another one, so here's the deal:

Card Class on Thursday, Sept. 3

Flexible Start Time - Arrive anytime between 3:30 and 6:00 p.m.

Cost: $10 for 4 cards with envelopes, or FREE with a $20 Stampin Up order at the class.

Please let me know by Tuesday, Sept. 1 if you plan to attend, so I can make enough card kits.

If you can't make it to the class in person, I'll make the kit available by mail for an additional $3 to cover postage.

Now that our fishing vacations are done for the summer, I hope to have classes on a more regular basis. Stay tuned!

#simplestamping Cards - Quick, Easy and Cute

 When you take part in a "Designer Series Paper Share", you get to see, touch and play with pieces of ALL the current Stampin' Up! Designer Series Papers.

I recently took part in a share hosted by my upline, Cindy Ehlers, and now I'm enjoying the possibilities of these beautiful pattersn.

Here are my first 2 cards. This one uses paper from the Playful Pets package, which has designs to please both dog and cat fanciers.

The Playing With Patterns DSP set has many bright and cheerful selections. This rainbow-effect paper could be used with several different colors of the spectrum. I chose Purple Posy and Misty Moonlight cardstock to bring out those shades on the DSP layer. The little In Color butterfly elements add just the right touch of texture.

Four Season Floral Gift Card

I am having so much fun designing cards with the Flowers for Every Season suite of products.

Today, I took these supplies . . .

. . . and created this modified Joy Fold card with a gift card holder, inspired by France "Frenchie" Martin.

Supplies include:

Cinnamon Cider card base, 6 3/4 x 5 1/2 inches, scored at 4  1/4

Flowers for Every Season Designer Series Paper, 5 1/4 x 4 inches and 5 1/4 x 2 inches
