A Sneak Peek at Hand-Penned Suite

 

It is a rare day when I have all the supplies needed to exactly CASE (Copy And Share Everything) a design from one of the “big” Stampin’ Up! demonstrators , but it happened yesterday!

I saw this stunning tower card design from demonstrator Mary Deatherage and recognized that I have all the same parts and pieces from my new catalog pre order. Mary graciously put the measurements and scoring/cutting directions on her website just so others can copy her gorgeous design. 

About 15 minutes in my stamp room was all it took. What do you think? Would you like to learn how to make this tower card in one of my classes?

Saying Goodbye to . . . Butterfly Gala Stamps and Butterfly Duet Punch

 

This stamp set and punch bundle has been a favorite combination of mine. I enjoy the convenience of stamping the images, grabbing a punch, and quickly getting those cute butterflies to put on cards. And it comes with a nice variety of word stamps.

The set gives us options in the style of the butterflies and how to color them. We can either stamp on colored cardstock, punch and done, or use the two-step-stampin' technique with the color block stamps for the butterfly bodies, or use markers or Stampin' Blends. You can see each of these techniques used in the photos here.

Enjoy this look back at some of the projects we have made in classes with this versatile set. It is available from Stamipn' Up! until May 3, then it will fly away forever! 

NOT Saying Goodbye to . . . "Nothing's Better Than..."

 

This stamp set grabbed my attention today. It is called "Nothing's Better Than" and it is NOT retiring with the start of the new catalog, I just felt like featuring these whimsical sentiments today.

I'll bet you can think of someone who would get a smile from one of these cards!

Saying Goodbye to Waterfront and Snow Front Landscape Builder Stamps

 

Two of my favorite stamp sets from Stampin’ Up’s 2020-2021 Annual Catalog are the Waterfront and Snow Front sets, that each have a selection of pieces that allow you to build a landscape scene from different seasons of the year. I have had a lot of fun with these images. Here are some of the things you can do with these sets..

Saying Goodbye to... Simply Citrus All Inclusive Card Kit

 As we near the retirement date for the current Stampin’ Up! Catalog, I will highlight some of my favorite items that are retiring. Here are some cards made with the Simply Citrus card kit, both by me and others. I enjoy taking the supplies in our card kits and literally “thinking outside the box” by coming up with my own designs.
