And here are the cards from last week's class and kit...

 Hi Stampers!

For those of you who attended my class last week, or purchased the card kits from the class, here are the color photos of your cards. I only have a black&white printer at home, so your instructions don't have the color photos.

First, two of the card designs from the Gorgeous Posies card kit in the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog.

This kit includes all the supplies to create 16 cards with matching envelopes, 4 cards in each of 4 designs. Since more than 4 of you participated, we used these 2 designs, depending upon whether you were at the in-person class or purchased the kit.

The next card features a technique I recently learned from my stampin' upline, Cindy Ehlers. (You can find her blog at https://cindysstampingstudio.blogspot.com/)   The technique is called "Faux Embossing." You can get this look by applying clear shipping tape over the cardstock before die-cutting, and it looks like the piece was heat embossed. Very clever - thanks for the tip, Cindy!

Here is one of my favorite, simple techniques. Select your favorite Designer Series Paper (DSP) and a coordinating color of cardstock. Use any set of layering dies and, from largest to smallest, alternate the dies between the DSP and the cardstock to make the different sized layers. Then just glue them together in size order, largest to smallest and put them on the card front. Stamp a verse for the smallest size, stick it on the card, add a few gems to embellish, and your card is ready to go.

This quick card makes use of the beautiful sea life patterns in the Whale of a Time Designer Series Paper set. The verse is from the High Tide stamp set.

Here is a cards using my old favorite Daisy Lane stamp set and the Medium Daisy punch to make a cheery sunflower.

That's it for the latest class - stay tuned for details on my next class!
