Hi Stampin' Friend!
I had a little leisure time on my hands today so I dug out some more UFOs (Un-Finished Objects) and created a few cards.
The bag of miscellaneous Designer Series Paper scraps was the inspiration for these 4 simple cards. Most of the pieces were only 3 x 4 inches. For the card above, I used Pool Party as the card base with Blackberry Bliss and Daffodil Delight as accents. I used one of the Border Basics dies to give an interesting shape to the center strip of cardstock.
I cheated a little on this peachy Thank You card - while all the DSP and cardstock are from Stampin' Up!, I used someone else's set of dies to cut every piece of cardstock on the card, including the words. The only hard part about it is lining up the pieces.
The Designer Series Papers on this card were both 3 x 4 inches. I cut the striped pattern piece in half to make it look like a background mat. What cheerful colors!
And finally, a VERY simple card using the pretty plants on the DSP as the feature.
I hope you enjoyed my efforts here and they inspire you to tackle a few UFOs too!
